Description
We are seeking a dynamic, community-oriented professional to serve as Trainer II, specializing in the design and delivery of learning programs that develop branch leadership skills, enhance employee performance, and strengthen our service culture.
Key Responsibilities
HR Manager Support
• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HR Manager across all Human Resources functions.
• Prepare reports, presentations, documentation, and materials for HR initiatives, audits, and leadership updates.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining HR programs, policies, and procedures.
• Track project timelines and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
HR Operations & Data Management
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
• Perform data entry and process employee lifecycle changes, including hires, promotions, terminations, and compensation updates.
• Ensure HRIS data integrity and audit readiness through regular reviews.
• Generate standard and ad hoc HR reports to support organizational needs.
Benefits & Payroll Coordination
• Administer day-to-day benefits activities, including enrollments, changes, and billing reconciliation.
• Respond to routine employee questions related to benefits and HR processes.
• Support payroll processing by ensuring employee data and updates are accurate and timely.
• Coordinate with vendors and escalate issues when appropriate.
Compliance & Audit Support
• Assist with internal audits and regulatory examinations by preparing and organizing required documentation.
• Ensure HR records and processes meet compliance standards.
• Track required postings, certifications, and training completions.
• Support policy maintenance, updates, and version control.
Leave Administration & Employee Support
• Track employee leave (FMLA, PTO, ADA accommodations) and maintain accurate records.
• Provide employees with forms and general guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Handle routine employee inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the HR Manager.
Recruiting & Onboarding Support
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
• Prepare offer letters and facilitate standard onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Manage onboarding logistics, ensuring completion of required documentation and compliance tasks.
• Track onboarding progress to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or HR certification preferred (not required)
• 1-2+ years of HR, payroll, benefits, or administrative experience
• Experience in banking or regulated industry preferred
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple administrative processes simultaneously
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
