Job Summary:
Provides loans as appropriate to credit-worthy customers within limitations of lending authority and organization loan policy. Develops business by establishing and maintaining sound relationships with existing and potential customer. To provide leadership, direction, and guidance for all branch bank activity to ensure the short and long term profitability of the facility, along with community citizenship. Ensures that sound banking practices are followed and that all regulations governing lending functions are strictly observed. Responsibilities Qualifications:
• Maintains ongoing aggressive, sound program of business development to meet objectives.
• Participates in local community affairs and supports local activities
• Planning, directing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating all lending activities to minimize risk exposure, and to ensure that the bank effectively meets its goals and objectives, both short and long term.
• Represents the bank and provides leadership in key community activities including business, charitable, civic, and social organizations to maintain the bank’s image as that of a responsible corporate citizen.
• Maintains knowledge of underwriting criteria
• Take detail loan applications; assist with processing file and appropriate documentation, resolves problems. Coordinates closings with all involved parties
• Consults as needed with customers and bank officers regarding mortgage loan programs, loan rates, and general qualifying requirements
Required:
Expert knowledge and experience in the operation and function of a bank. Must possess strong management abilities and be able to recognize and foster other management personnel. Also, must possess demonstrated strong leadership qualities, good communication and sales skills, decision-making abilities, and a high degree of personal integrity. Ability and desire to achieve profit, growth, and customer service objectives. Good sales skills and ability to develop business. Must be experienced in the credit/lending function. A minimum of 2 years general lending experience or equivalent required.
WORK DAYS/HOURS (In Person)
Monday-Friday
8:00am to 5:00 pm
Some Saturday's Required
